Filipino Ministry: Simbahang Filipino The Clontarf Beach Baptist Church Filipino Ministry, or the Simbahang Filipino, as we call it, is a ministry composed primarily of, and aimed at reaching out to Filipinos now living in and around the Redcliffe area, along with their family and friends. We believe that the strong cultural bond and experiences shared by the Filipino people, especially by those who have migrated to Australia, are blessings from God which should be used for the advancement of his kingdom. Our desire is to engage the Filipinos’ healthy affinity with each other and use this as a bridge to build relationships focused on sharing Christ’s love and his good news and discipleship in the Lord.

In the same way, we also want to use our background and experiences as migrants in reaching out to people of various cultures and nations who share, or may have gone through, a similar journey of moving to Australia.
